Actor Portraits
As a cinematographer, I learned how to work with actors on set or in a play. But in a photo studio, it's different. You have to connect with them one-on-one and capture their emotion. That's why I always create a short scenario for each actor I photograph. I tell them the story as I take the pictures. This helps them to express themselves and to feel more comfortable in front of the lens.
