Hotel Jugoslavija was opened at the beginning of the seventies of the last century in Belgrade. The architect was Lavoslav Horvat. During the old Yugoslavia, it was one of the most modern hotels of that era. It was a prestigious meeting place. After the bombing of the then state of Yugoslavia in 1999, an entire part of the hotel was destroyed. The hotel was closed in 2006 that year. Only one part of it was put into operation again until 2013, when it was officially shut down. This building has been waiting for its reconstruction for over ten years. At the end of last year, the hotel was sold to Ritz.
